CEO & Founder of The Drinkable Company, Mark Mahoney, is a seasoned professional in the beverage industry with over 35 years of experience. Having served in multiple roles and capacities for his own Food Service brands, he has been involved with over 50 food and beverage companies throughout his career, including several brand launches.
Mahoney is a dedicated businessman and thoughtful friend. When his best friend and former business partner, Alan Williams, was struggling with terminal cancer, Mark was an early advisor to Levia, New England’s first cannabis infused beverage company, and resigned from his role to assist Alan in his final months. Alan was a devout member of AA for over 30 years and was the impetus for Mark to explore the benefits of cannabis for personal and medical use. While he witnessed first hand how alcohol precedes disastrous and oftentimes fatal health effects, cannabis procures the opposite. Cannabis-infused beverages can have a similar outcome of happiness and affability, without the health risks and hangover sickness of alcohol.
