1. HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS (2000 VERSION ONLY-- DUH)
We all know that the only acceptable version of this movie is the 2000 live action version with Jim Carrey. I mean, of course this movie tops the list because the Grinch is green like our favorite friend, cannabis. You totally can’t go wrong watching this movie while sipping on one of our drinks– take a sip every time the Grinch says something anti-Christmas! Or maybe that would get you too high... either way, this movie paired with The Drinkable Company will have you saying “That’s it, I'm not going..” to bed.
2. ELF (2003)
If you aren’t a Will Ferrell fan already, this movie with any of our infused beverages in hand will definitely change your mind. In a long quest from the North Pole to see the world and find his dad, Buddy falls in love with a mall “elf” along the way. The laughs you will have seeing Ferrell in this role will have you thinking you are as high as the North Pole, and maybe even concocting some strange munchie foods like Buddy the elf’s breakfast spaghetti— oof, that’s sweet!
3. A VERY HAROLD & KUMAR CHRISTMAS (2011)
This movie is a stoner holiday classic that takes the audience on a wild, comedic sleigh ride. Two old friends reunite when a “magic joint” is sent to their apartment, and they soon remember why they stopped using weed all the time. But that doesn’t mean you have to! The funniest duo experience outlandish and high jinks-filled situations as they search for the perfect Christmas tree. It’s the perfect choice for a laid-back, high viewing session. So, grab your favorite snacks, crack one open, and let the holiday hilarity unfold in a delightfully altered state.
4. HOME ALONE (1990)
Ever get a paranoid feeling that someone will break into your home when you get a little too high? Well, for young Macaulay Culkin, he really did get his home broken into when his parents left him behind. With all Kevin’s unique traps and tricks, you may just get an idea or two for your next booby trap when you hear strange sounds when “high at home” during the holidays.
5. RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER (1964)
Who doesn’t love a good classic claymation? This movie was a particular favorite in my childhood, and re-watching it every year is the best kick-off to the holiday season. Snuggled up with a Tiger Tea on the couch only makes the experience that much more elevated. Between Yukon Cornelius’s mustache and the Abominable Snow Monster, the characters in this film will put an extra large grin on your face. And it just may turn your eyes the color of Rudolph’s nose if you drink enough of our beverages!
